RS&H is seeking an Airfield Electrical Engineer III to join our Aviation Practice in Jacksonville, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, or Los Angeles.

You will lead, develop, and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexities, initiate and maintain client contact, and assist the team in winning new work.

Summary

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work with a team of aviation design professionals to develop engineering solutions for airfield projects. Your responsibilities include leading the preparation of design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems. You will coordinate with other engineers to develop specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience in the aviation industry
• Experience working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Registered PE license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Some travel may be required
