The Material Planner will provide planning and estimating support to the Estimating Department, by developing a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), forecasting and requisitioning materials identified in bidding process, to include Long Lead Time Material (LLTM), and ensuring material requirements are met in support of availability milestones. They will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the material requirements requisitioned by others, as well as monitoring material budgets, in support of their designated availabilities.

Qualifications- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret Navy drawings and technical manuals.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience in a ship repair work facility or similar industrial environment, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a material planning, purchasing, estimating capacity or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain "Defense Biometric Identification System" DBIDS access card.
- Must have the ability to work onsite at the facility.
- Experience with Maritime specification for materials or certifications with emphasis in Supply Chain / Logistics.
Full-Time Salary Range: $60,076 - $102,130
