Structural Engineer (PE) – Federal / DoD Projects
Location:
Jacksonville, FL
Compensation:

A nationally recognized design-build contractor specializing in Department of Defense (DoD) and federal facility projects is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to join their growing structural team.
This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical military and federal projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What You’ll Do- Lead structural analysis and design for Navy, Air Force, Army Corps, and other federal facilities
- Design structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations
- Develop construction documents and structural models using Revit
- Perform structural analysis using RISA Suite and TEDDS
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams
- Support construction administration, RFIs, and submittal reviews
- Contribute to constructability reviews and design-build collaboration
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in building structural design (not telecom or industrial-only)
- Strong proficiency with:
- Revit (structural modeling and documentation)
- RISA (3D, Floor, or Foundation)
- TEDDS
- Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
- Experience with federal or DoD projects is highly preferred
- Familiarity with UFC criteria is a strong plus
- Work on high-profile federal and military construction projects
- Strong project pipeline and long-term stability
