SummaryWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II with strong expertise in AutoCAD, Solid Works, ASME standards, product data management, and fabrication processes. The successful candidate will work in a diverse, fast‑paced environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver quality mechanical designs and support project milestones. Creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence are essential, along with the ability to obtain security clearance if required.
Responsibilities- Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Must have knowledge of ASME Yl & Yl4.5-1994 drawings.
- Working experience with product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Solid understanding of core concepts, including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.
- Must have knowledge of various fabrication and assembly, including metal machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
- Knowledge of industry and military specifications for materials, parts, and processes preferred.
- Must have creativity, innovation, commitment to excellence, with the ability to work in a diverse and fast‑paced environment.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to travel.
- Must be able to obtain security clearance if required by the contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Aerospace Engineering with an applicable specialty (i.e., mechanical or design).
- Two (2) years of applicable mechanical engineer experience.
- Prior military aviation maintenance experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of 3D scanning equipment and 3D printing is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project required.
