Quality Engineer

Seeking a proactive Quality Engineer with manufacturing experience, customer-facing skills, and a strong aerospace background. The role involves ensuring product and process quality, collaborating with manufacturing, and driving continuous improvement.

• Represent Quality in daily production meetings and interact with customers to resolve issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using 8D methodology.
• Identify non-compliance, update processes, and maintain clear documentation with strong writing skills.
• Develop, maintain, and apply quality standards, inspection plans, and statistical methods.
• Perform audits, analyze quality trends, and recommend improvements to processes and products.
• Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to enhance product and process quality.
• Mentor team members and share specialized knowledge across functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; ASQ certification preferred.
• 1-2+ years of quality engineering or manufacturing experience, ideally in aerospace.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, sampling plans, process control, and quality systems.
• Comfortable questioning processes, escalating issues, and interacting with customers.

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering.
