Transportation Engineer Student Intern

Overview

NV5 is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets.

We are looking for a student intern to support the Transportation group through design preparation. We work in a studio atmosphere where collaboration, flexibility, and self-motivation are important.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

* Prepare designs and reports, perform calculations

* CADD/Civil 3D /ORD

* Interact and communicate with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients

* Perform site visit fieldwork work as needed

* Attend meetings

* Provide assistance with specific project-related tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications

* BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering;
Must be currently enrolled

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Effective interpersonal skills

* Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

* Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision as well as work effectively as a team member
