Civil Engineer; EIT

Civil Engineer (EIT) – Jacksonville, FL

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering design including analysis, calculations, layout, and drafting of details.
• Prepare and produce construction plans and modify specifications.
• Develop engineering estimates and quantities for construction.
• Coordinate and communicate field construction activities with clients, contractors, and project team members.
• Collaborate with design teams across local and national offices.
• Support civil sitework, roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure projects from concept through construction administration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Excel, Word, and ArcGIS (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts visually and in writing.
• Interest in diverse assignments and innovative design technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and learn new skills.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE Exam prior to hire.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a civil engineering environment (preferred).

Additional Information:

• Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range: $74,000 - $82,000
