Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Solid Works.
- Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to ensure design accuracy and functionality.
- Prepare schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings for mechanical systems and components.
- Utilize additional tools like Sketch Up, Navis Works, Micro Station, and Civil 3D to support project development.
- Review, update, and revise technical drawings to reflect design changes and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Maintain organized records of design documents and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Solid Works (required).
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with tools such as Sketch Up, Navis Works, Micro Station, Civil 3D, or basic 2D animation techniques (a plus).
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing accurate, quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field (preferred, but not required).
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Prior work within an engineering or architectural firm.
