JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
PAY RATE: $34/hour
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

- Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and flight control components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
. - Perform close-tolerance drilling, precision measuring, and composite/metallic repairs
. - Install/remove rivets, blind fasteners, hi-locks, bolts, and lock bolts
. - Apply primer, paint, Alodine, sealants, and corrosion prevention methods
. - Complete maintenance documentation and technical logs
.
3+ years of aircraft mechanic experience (commercial, military, defense, or apprenticeship experience accepted)
3+ years reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
.Ability to perform close-tolerance drilling (.003) and precision measuring (.003).
Experience with
metallic and composite aircraft structures
.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
.Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Experience supporting fighter or military aircraft maintenance
.Experience with
flight controls, structural repairs, and aircraft modifications
.Familiarity with Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins
