Overview
NSI requires a Senior Logistics Manager (Configuration Management) to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Program Office. The role involves providing configuration management for software, including releases and upgrades, identifying and tracking software changes in the fleet, supporting test equipment, and collecting, compiling, analyzing logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data.
Responsibilities- Develop, operate, evaluate, and improve systems supportability and maintainability programs.
- Provide configuration management for software releases/upgrades.
- Identify and track software changes in the fleet.
- Support test equipment and related software.
- Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data.
- Minimum four years of experience analyzing logistics and maintenance, including maintenance planning, design interface, sustainment engineering.
- Experience in NAVAIR configuration management:
Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Software Changes (ASC, ASB, SSC, SSB, etc.). - Data analytics using Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel VBA/advanced formulas and Word macros, detailed research and data mining skills.
- Familiarity with LSA, LPD, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and other supportability analyses.
- Experience with NAVAIR technical publications.
- Understanding of logistics in Technical Engineering Instructions (TEIs).
- Experience in maintenance planning, logistics support, and supportability analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of Navy/Marine Corps supply systems.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
- BS or BA degree, or 4 years of direct experience.
- Four years of DoD acquisition logistics experience in configuration management of test equipment or avionic software.
- Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. citizen.
