Senior Electrical Engineer-Metrology​/Test Equipment

NSI requires a Senior Electrical Engineer – Metrology/Test Equipment to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Avionics and Metrology Divisions. The Avionics work centers provide fully Ready for Issue components including Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs). The WRAs and SRAs support multiple Navy and Marine Corps type/model/series aircraft.

Apply electrical/electronic engineering knowledge in support of the design, development, test & engineering, implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing test equipment and support equipment systems.

The candidate will collaborate, plan and execute in support of repair efforts.

Preferred experience includes RF/Microwave—attenuation, AM‑FM‑PM modulations, power, insertion loss, VSWR, noise, adapters, antennas, CDNs, signal generators, EMI receivers—and Optical—laser, fiber optics, illuminance, radiance, color, color temperature, optical density, night vision.

Jacksonville, FL

Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an accredited college or university.

10 years of experience and preferably 5 years of Department of Defense experience.

A Master's Degree plus 5 years of experience.
