Position: Entry-Level Electrical Modification Technician - P-8 with Security Clearance

Boeing Global Servies (BGS) is looking for Entry Level Electrical Modification Technicians to join our P-8 team in Jacksonville, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

* Assist with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes

* Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components

* Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components

* Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications

* Assist with and perform tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations)

* Work under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems, shop mathematics and practices

* Experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.

* Experience with component and wire installation to include repairing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting new, experimental, and disturbed systems

* Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience with avionics and aircraft systems

* FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant

* Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher Conflict of Interest:
