Duties
* You will serve as Senior Project Manager and technical advisor for all aspects of Project Management.
* You will be responsible for the project management features of work related to military construction projects, and coordinate and direct the work of others.
* You will render technical decisions/recommendations on situations, questions, and/or problems relating to scheduling, funding, project coordination, and contract interpretations which could affect the execution of the project.
* You will serve as focal point to supported commanders, higher echelon, and field offices, on information for projects assigned regarding status of individual projects, and review and act on correspondence concerning assigned projects.
* You will be responsible for tracking the progress of facility design to ensure execution remains within scope, within budget and on schedule. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
* Relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5753 may be authorized in accordance with applicable regulations. PCS is not authorized.
* You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce DAWIA Improvement Act (DA WIA). Certification in the Acquisition
Functional Area
and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* The incumbent must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) to be promoted to GS-13.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.

Possession of a current Professional Engineer License or Architectural Registration in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. (

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to: GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: negotiating and administering construction contracts to ensure specifications and quality assurance are in compliance;
and providing advisory services for the design, construction, and oversight of plans and design criteria for repairs and alterations of large structures such as, office buildings, warehouses, parking facilities. GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing project management, design engineering, and construction management services;
developing programs, policies, and processes to manage engineering design or construction projects; AND performing planning, programming, budgeting and execution of long and short range plans.
