Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

Experience:

4 to 5 years minimum. ACE, AutoCAD, and Micro Station.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in Electrologix-based design environments, hardware design, and application logic development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with ACE, AutoCAD, and Micro Station, and a solid background in electrical/control system design, preferably in utilities or infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in hardware design and application logic design
• Hands-on experience with:
• ACE (Advanced Control Environment)
• AutoCAD
• Micro Station
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and protection systems
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Design and develop electrical hardware systems and control panels
• Create and modify application logic designs for protection and control systems
• Develop detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Micro Station
• Work with ACE (Advanced Control Environment) for design, configuration, and documentation
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and field teams
• Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of engineering deliverables
