As part of the Business Unit Syringes Systems, Gerresheimer Bünde GmbH is one of the world's most modern production sites for pre-filled syringe systems and cartridges. With around 800 employees, our plant in Bünde in the district of Herford is considered the group's competence center for syringes used for the long-term storage of medicines, such as vaccines.

As a Senior Engineer Process-Optimization (m/w/d), you will be responsible for planning and implementing projects to increase capacity and efficiency, as well as for quality improvement in the production of syringes, vials, and cartridges.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the analysis, development, and improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes to increase efficiency and quality
• You support the planning, specification, procurement, and integration of special machines and automation systems, including technical acceptances
• You develop and implement technical standards and evaluate and introduce new technologies in production sites
• You are responsible for the selection, evaluation, and technical management of suppliers, ensuring quality, deadlines, and specifications
• You provide technical leadership and control of technical projects, with responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality, and intensive interface work
• You create technical reports, test plans, and evaluations in compliance with relevant standards
• You have a worldwide travel commitment of up to 3 months per year for supplier support, project assistance, acceptance, and technology transfer at global production sites

Profile:

• Technical (higher) education (e.g., process engineering, medical engineering, etc.) completed
• Several years of professional experience in process optimization in a manufacturing or industrial company
• Very good knowledge in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes
• Very good knowledge of the commissioning, qualification, and validation of manufacturing processes
• In-depth knowledge of relevant IT applications and general data affinity
• Team and communication skills, as well as high commitment and resilience
• Very good English language skills in speech and writing (at least B2)
