Skills:
Polymer characterization and 3D Printing process development.
• A minimum B.S. in Polymer/Material/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 3 - 4 years of related experience. (Degree in Polymer Engineering will be preferred).
Experience
Required:
• 3 or more years of experience in Engineering, Polymer science, Materials science, or related field.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of polymer chemistry, experimental design, and polymer characterization techniques.
• Experience with polymeric thermal, analytical, and physical property testing and analysis.
• Working knowledge of polymer structure/property relationships.
• Preferred experience - In-depth experience and technical leadership in 3D printing/Additive manufacturing methods, materials science, equipment and process development, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Ensure appropriate development and execution of specific development plans for a variety of materials and/or products.
• Composition, execution, and analysis for development and characterization protocols.
• Maintenance of all polymer fabrication and testing equipment utilized per GMP standards.
• Support polymer material characterization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple customer sites and suppliers.
• Perform DOE.
• Test result data analysis.
• Create/Draft Engineering studies, Test Protocols and Completion Reports.
