Job Purpose
The Commissioning ICSS Supervisor will play a critical role in the safe and efficient execution of commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities for Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS), ensuring compliance with project specifications, company standards, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise ICSS commissioning, testing, and start-up activities, including FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing, OTP execution, and system validation.
- Review operational and commissioning documentation, ensuring readiness of systems, subsystems, and facilities for safe start-up and First Oil.
- Verify construction against approved 3D models and company standards, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Support and oversee ATEX inspections, operational testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Act as the ICSS Discipline Advisor, supporting Operations and Production teams throughout commissioning, start-up, and handover.
- Drive operational readiness by developing start-up procedures, training field personnel, and ensuring familiarity with new systems and safety processes.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, JSA, Risk Assessments, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews, promoting an Incident-Free culture.
- Manage punch list activities, including identification, categorization, close‑out review, and escalation of critical issues.
- Coordinate daily with Commissioning, Pre‑Commissioning, Operations, and Vendor teams to ensure smooth project execution and start‑up readiness.
- Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, red‑line P&IDs, operational records, and handover packages.
- Higher National Diploma (HND), Technical Diploma, or equivalent in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Control & Instrumentation within offshore oil & gas operations.
- Proven track record in commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness of ICSS, ESD, F&G, and instrumentation systems.
- Strong knowledge of FAT/SAT, loop and functional testing, punch management, construction verification, and P&.
- Experienced in HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, PTW, risk assessments, and ATEX compliance.
- Previous offshore production and operations experience is essential.
- Proficient in reporting systems and standard computer applications.
- COMPEX, OPITO H2S, T‑BOSIET, Basic Firefighting, PTW & JSA Awareness, Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Authorized Gas Tester, Lifting & Rigging, Manual Handling, Radiation Protection Awareness, and LOTO/Hazard Energy Control Awareness.
