We are currently seeking a Director of Civil Engineering to lead our Civil Engineering Department in Jacksonville, Florida. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the area.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding the overall direction, performance, and growth of the civil engineering team while ensuring the successful execution of Department of Defense projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with military design standards, site development, interdisciplinary coordination, and team leadership. This position plays a key role in advancing the firm's engineering capabilities while supporting the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $165,000 - $200,000

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required;
    Master's degree preferred
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
  • At least 15 years of experience in civil/site design, military or DoD-related infrastructure work preferred
  • Experience using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, Info Drainage, or equivalent platforms
  • Understanding of federal project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design-Build (DB), and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) in compliance with FAR requirements
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and permitting processes
  • Willingness to travel to project locations when required
