Project Engineer - Roadway

Overview

Mas Tec Civil is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in the heavy civil/roadway construction field that will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations, engineering standards, codes and specifications.

This project will be located in the Jacksonville, FL area and will primarily focus on drainage and roadway construction.

• Ensurethatconstructioncrewscomply withallOSHAregulationsand companysafetypolicies
• Review Project Contracts ,Plansand Specificationsintheirentirety
• Prepare Project Scheduleandmonthlyupdates
• Preparequantityreporting,projectcostscashflowprojectionsandforecasting
• Coordinate with subcontractors,suppliersandworkforce toresolveprojectchallenges, conflicts, and/or technical issues
• Prepareandsubmit Primeand Subcontractor Change Orders
• Manage document control toincludesubmittalschedules,contract documents, project record drawings,etc.
• Prepare andmaintaintechnicalsubmittallist, NPDES permits, Storm,Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan,and Project Progress Schedule as required
• Complywithnoticerequirementssuchasinspections,survey staking, jointmeasurementswithowner and/or engineer,utility locations and adjustments,testing, claims,etc.
• Issuecorrespondencetosubcontractorsandvendorswhenrevisedplanand/orspecificationsaffectsproductsorservices
• Assistwithprojectcloseout
• Perform additional assignments per the Project Manager's direction

• B.S.inCivil Engineeringwithemphasisin Construction Engineering and Management
• 4 or more years of experience in the civil construction field on a roadway project(s)
• Specific experience in roadway construction and drainage.

• Compensation commensurate with experience. ($85,000 - 95,000+)
