- Demonstrate mastery of troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair in conjunction with areas such as Process improvement, IMM Knowledge, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, Electro‑mechanical devices, Robotic / Servo systems, Safety Devices, Equipment installation, Debug and Qualification, Control circuitry development, Electro‑mechanical troubleshooting/repair, Equipment prototyping, Production start‑up, IMM equipment process development and mechanical devices and controllers.
- Provide technical training and certification for IMM Engineering Technicians on the operation and troubleshooting of the IMM machinery and process.
- Record all equipment downtime, machine repairs, audits, and non‑conformance events in the maintenance management system.
- Contribute to the design of experiments, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), protocols, validations, and other improvement projects by coordinating or leading improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate solid understanding in process improvements by meeting qualification standards in at least one of:
Key Process Indicators, Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Gap Analysis, Prioritization Matrix, etc. - Other duties:
Operate and maintain the IMM Machines (65%), perform Maintenance and Process Training (5%), emergency response for machine troubleshooting and repair (10%), emergency response for process troubleshooting and repair (10%), involvement with Process Excellence (5%), perform other related duties as assigned by management (5%). - Work rotating 12‑hour shifts, 6pm to 6am or 6am to 6pm, including weekends on a regular basis.
- Education:
2+ years college in a technical discipline (or equivalent) emphasizing electro‑mechanical, and IMM training equivalent industrial experience; proven process knowledge. - Experience and Skills:
- Required:
4–6 years IMM maintenance or engineering experience with high‑volume Injection Molding environment, preferably continuous operations. - Preferred:
Expert in IMM with strength in the IMM machine and carryover (2A) areas; able to train and certify in that area; recognized for identifying and correcting IMM equipment reliability issues; demonstrates leadership behaviors and positively impacts shifts.
- Required:
- Physical demands: stooping, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25lbs.), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, and crawling.
- Required:
