Electrical Engineer
BB&E is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE). The selected candidate will provide professional electrical engineering services in support of the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported commands. Work will be performed on-site in Jacksonville, Florida, utilizing Government-furnished equipment.
This position is contingent upon contract award. The role includes support for military construction (MILCON), facilities sustainment, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical engineering analyses, calculations, designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of facility projects.
- Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and other engineering software for design-bid-build and design-build projects.
- Design electrical systems supporting administrative, industrial, medical, waterfront, aviation, research, recreational, and residential facilities.
- Design and evaluate medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, substations, transformers, standby power systems, lighting systems, grounding systems, lightning protection, telecommunications, audiovisual, photovoltaic, and security systems.
- Perform engineering studies, calculations, technical reports, economic analyses, and engineering evaluations.
- Conduct site investigations and facility assessments to develop project design requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination meetings, and project development teams.
- Provide construction support by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting site visits, witnessing acceptance testing, and supporting commissioning activities.
- Review engineering designs for compliance with applicable Federal, DoD, NAVFAC, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders, architects, engineers, and project managers throughout all phases of project delivery.
