Raytheon is seeking a Requirements and Capabilities Director for Undersea Programs to lead campaigns to grow Raytheon’s customer base for undersea integrated sensors and effectors throughout the undersea domain.

The Director develops, gains leadership approval and aggressively executes campaign strategies in close coordination with the Raytheon Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) Business Development Executive and Naval Power business units. The Director will develop relationships with domestic and international customers that desire undersea sensor, effector, and integrated solutions to meet their defense needs. This position works onsite at either our Jacksonville FL or Arlington, VA facilities in a hybrid schedule as business needs determine.

• Identify, develop and assess new undersea opportunities
• Build and maintain business relationships with potential customers and their US government counterparts
• Provide subject matter expertise in US and international customers' procurement process and acquisition strategy
• Participate in the development of strategic plans and country strategies
• Prepare and request international licensing and agreements
• Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their ad vocation and development of new technologies and our solutions
• Approximately 30% domestic and international travel

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
• Navy experience with submarines, undersea operations
• Submarine qualified officer with expertise with Navy undersea operations, combat systems
• Experience in U.S. Navy requirements, acquisition, and/or program management

• Undersea sensors /effectors and sonar array system
• Submarine command experience
• Strategic thinking with a proven track record of success; capable of assessing current and future maritime war fighting capabilities and requirements and developing innovative solutions to solve customers' most difficult problems
• Proven leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for achieving mission success for our customers
• Current Active Secret Clearance
