Manager, Mechanical Engineering

Logistic Services Int. seeks a Manager, Mechanical Engineering to lead design, analysis, and integration of mechanical systems supporting aviation and defense logistics programs. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers supporting aviation and defense logistics programs
• Oversee mechanical system design, analysis, and integration to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements
• Plan and manage project scope, schedule, resources, and budgets for engineering tasks
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry, aviation, and defense standards and customer specifications
• Review and approve engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with logistics, training, and program management teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence
• Support proposal efforts, technical reviews, and customer presentations
• Drive innovation and process improvements in mechanical engineering methods and tools
