As an aerospace engineer, you know leading-edge integrated Aircraft Survivability Equipment ( iASE ) and Countermeasure Dispensing Systems ( CMDS ) are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen, you can use your advanced engineering expertise to develop next-generation defense tools and technology. We need your skills and expertise in iASE and CMDS research and development to oversee the development of creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.

As an aerospace engineer on our team, you’ll share your expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace systems. Your experience in iASE and CMDS is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology. You’ll work with a group of aerospace engineers across the company and collaborate with government personnel to deliver world-class solutions to develop next generation and modernized iASE and CMDS solutions for fielded applications. Your engineering knowledge will help the Department of War expand and improve their capabilities to protect warfighters.

• 10+ years of experience researching technology and capability gaps in the areas of integrated aircraft survivability equipment and countermeasure dispensing systems

• Experience with the ALE-47 countermeasure dispensing system

• Experience with countermeasure dispensing system hardware and sequencer operational flight programs sof tware

• Experience with mission data generator and mission date files sof tware

• Knowledge of aircraft self-protection equipment and sensors

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
