Customer Service Rep
Clean Harbors is seeking an onsite ERTS dispatcher in Jacksonville, FL to organize and coordinate daily dispatching activities for employees and equipment across multiple locations. The dispatcher will coordinate incoming customer requests, ensuring the appropriate manpower and equipment are dispatched to provide excellent, on‑time customer service. Effective communication must be maintained with all personnel and equipment to support customer service delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Complete regulatory reporting for the shift.
- Provide day‑to‑day environmental support to open projects, ensuring compliance with environmental policies, requirements, and procedures.
- Serve as a technical supervisor on matters relating to environmental spills.
- Oversee projects, including all phases of spill response, working directly with clients to ensure timely, successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.
- Dispatch contractors for excavation, transportation, and disposal of hazardous products.
- Oversee contractors in the field to determine sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil.
- Accurately log information from client interactions into ALERT systems and update in a timely accurate manner so that clients can track services, inquiries, and resolution.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, regulatory officials, and others through written and verbal communication.
- Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that customers’ concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved efficiently.
- Maintain professional competency in all aspects of the job.
- Perform other job‑related duties as required.
- Dispatch and customer service experience.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, DOT regulations or the ability to develop such knowledge.
- Strong time‑management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Team player who works to accomplish common goals in the department.
- Data entry, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications and ERTS software.
- Ability to handle a high call volume in a fast‑paced environment dealing with emergency response calls.
- Effective communication with clients, employees, and outside professionals.
- Ability to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
