Description
To partner with the Worship Director in supporting all aspects of the worship ministry at The Church of Eleven
22®.
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship.
- Principal worship leader for an Eleven
22 campus. - Recruit, train and maintain worship teams.
- Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in Eleven
22 campus services. - Maintain Planning Center, update charts, MP3s, lyrics, recordings, scheduling musicians, etc.
- Assist in overseeing the campus worship ministry budget, organization and serve staff.
- Lead worship for special events as needed.
- Assist the campus pastor in creating a healthy Eleven
22 environment. - Available for campus pastoral ministry and other ministry opportunities as needed.
- Set annual goals for the worship ministry, in line with our vision, and evaluate how those goals were attained or modified during the year.
- Attend all staff meetings and functions.
- Other duties as needed.

- Learn and utilize new computer software.
- Strong theological knowledge and ability to deliver gospel truths within worship services.
- Instrumental proficiency – strong vocal, musicianship and stage presence.
- Skilled in organization, administration and interpersonal relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Ableton Live and Planning Center Online programs.
- Demonstrated excellence as a worship leader with 2+ years of experience growing a worship ministry.
This is a full‑time (40 hrs/week), exempt position reporting to the Worship Director. Days and hours of work consist of (Monday, Thursday and Sunday) services, Monday‑through‑Thursday 8:30 am‑5 pm. The church has several big events (All‑Skates) throughout the year; these events are mandatory for all staff to attend and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical DemandsThis role would require the ability to lift equipment and bend or stand as necessary.
Ministerial ExceptionThe ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
