Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst II will be supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis team through the creation and maintenance of timely reports and analyses relating to all aspects of the company's operations and provider performance compared to their budget. The Financial Analyst II will be tasked with compiling all data related to the Company's Key Performance Indicators for revenue cycle, provider compensation, and productivity of the clinical operations.
The performance of this position will be measured by the effectiveness of the analysis and reports in improving the company's performance of its key measurements and indicators. The Financial Analyst II must be highly motivated, self-sufficient and thrive in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal and team skills are a must.
- Perform tasks such as financial and statistical report preparation, and financial analysis, including ROIs
- Proactively identifies problems/opportunities and participates in implementing solutions or process improvements
- Supports the Finance Managers during the budget and reforecast process as needed
- Interacts collaboratively with colleagues within Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, and others throughout the organization
- Prepare reports for each level of user (providers, practice administrators, and corporate executives) to effectively manage their operations
- Supports the development, improvement and preparation of the monthly operational analysis related to the Company's KPIs and other supporting analysis, while working closely with practice and corporate leaders to provide them with effective tools to better manage their operations
- Assist with provider compensation calculations and analysis
- Assists with the preparation of ad-hoc financial presentations to be used by Senior Management and the Board of Directors, as directed
- Other financial and business analysis reporting projects, as required
- Position requires good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance practices
- Strong investigation skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to identify potential or unusual issues, make appropriate decisions, and escalate for assistance when needed
- Super user analysis proficiency in Excel (strong knowledge and use of LOOKUP functions, pivot tables, and other Excel functions); ability to quickly learn new computer programs; and experience with Net Suite is a plus
- Preferred Database reporting capabilities (Power BI, Power Pivot, etc.)
- BS Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in financial and business analysis
- Healthcare and/or healthcare insurance industry experience is preferred
- Experience with Provider Compensation is preferred
