The Operations and Supplier Testing Analyst resides within the 1st Line of Defense (1
LOD) Operations and Supplier Testing team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting risk management of 1
LOD Operations. It requires hands‑on support for performing 1
LOD transactional and supplier oversight testing, completing all assigned test work within timelines, assisting the Testing Manager with new and expanded test scripts, and articulating exceptions and findings.
- Ensure operations and key suppliers have a sustainable and effective end‑to‑end control environment by identifying gaps and weaknesses during testing.
- Document and perform tests to provide reasonable assurance that internal and external processes are operationally effective.
- Obtain and analyze test data from multiple sources, following documented test plans and procedures, and leveraging job aids as needed.
- Manage assigned testing timelines to ensure all tasks and reporting are completed within established time frames.
- Assist the Testing Manager in building new test scripts for previously untested areas and augment existing scripts to broaden testing scope.
- Partner with stakeholders to offer feedback on testing results, ensure completion of corrective actions, and monitor changes to procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements to assess their impact on the testing scope.
- Collaborate with the Testing Manager to ensure test scripts are comprehensive for identifying and mitigating risks effectively.
- Prioritize competing responsibilities based on workload and demands, and undertake ad‑hoc duties as needed to support Operations and 1
LOD Risk.
- 3–4+ years of relevant experience in audit, compliance testing, or other control/transactional reviews.
- Experience in the banking and/or fintech industry; knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulations covering deposits and consumer lending.
- Demonstrated understanding of testing methodology, business processes, and risk‑control frameworks.
- Strategic thinker who can partner with the Testing Manager to build, expand, and improve testing scripts and processes.
- Strong organizational skills, able to balance multiple critical priorities simultaneously.
- High‑level time‑management skills to complete concurrent tasks within close deadlines with accuracy and detail.
- Strong analytical skills to review large sets of data, synthesize diverse processes, and formulate appropriate conclusions.
- Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable analyzing large datasets in Google suite, MS Office, etc.
- Results‑oriented with a track record of exceeding expectations.
- Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Inquisitive, detail‑oriented, diligent, and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of writing documentation and interacting positively with management and colleagues via telephone and Zoom.
- Positive outlook and ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
Base pay range: $76,800.00 – $.
Payment frequency:
