Responsibilities
Leads retail and operational efforts in a branch setting by providing services to customers in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while maintaining the confidentiality of the bank’s records and customer transactions. Educates customers about products, services, and refers the appropriate products and services matching the clients’ needs based upon the client conversation. Responsible for processing regular transactions, such as receiving and paying out cash and keeping records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions.
Will be expected to aid with growth and service goals by opening new deposit accounts, accepting consumer loan applications and referring mortgage and commercial applications to the appropriate branch partners. Efficiency, accuracy, and friendliness are a must.
Must have at least two year's experience in customer-facing role, preferably in banking/financial services role. General business and financial knowledge required. Knowledge of bank products, services, departments, and state and federal regulations highly preferred. Should be highly confident in using MS Office products, and comfortable learning financial related applications. Must be able to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and in stressful situations.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills required.
