Vice President of Accounts Receivable and Credit

We are seeking a VP of AR and Credit to oversee accounts receivable, credit, and collections operations. This role focuses on improving cash flow, managing credit risk, and driving process efficiency while partnering with finance and commercial teams to support business objectives. The individual will oversee a team of 13 and report to the CFO

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage accounts receivable, credit, and collections functions
• Drive strategies to improve cash flow and reduce delinquency
• Build out processes within the AR department including cash applications
• Oversee billing, cash application, and dispute resolution activities
• Establish and maintain credit policies, limits, and payment terms
• Identify and mitigate customer credit risk
• Partner cross-functionally to support operational and financial goals
• Provide reporting on receivables performance and risk trends
• Lead and develop a team of AR and credit professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collections leadership
• Strong understanding of credit risk and financial analysis
• Proven ability to improve processes and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, tactful communicator who performs well under pressure
