A leading global financial services firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Equity Compensation Administrator to join its Equity Compensation Control & Administration team. This is an entry-level opportunity offering direct exposure to equity plan governance, operational controls, and corporate compliance within a structured financial environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is interested in building long-term experience in financial operations, equity administration, or governance.
About the RoleReporting into senior leadership within Equity Administration and partnering closely with Legal, this position supports the operational execution, documentation, and servicing of employee equity compensation programs. The environment is structured, process-driven, and control-focused.
Key Responsibilities Equity Processing & Data Management- Perform accurate data entry of equity transactions and participant records
- Conduct routine data validations and reconciliations
- Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with internal controls
- Support reporting and tracking activities
- Execute checklist-based control procedures
- Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures
- Partner with leadership and legal stakeholders on documentation reviews
- Escalate discrepancies as appropriate
- Respond to participant inquiries via templated email communications
- Support educational materials and FAQ updates
- Ensure professional, accurate written communication
- Escalate complex inquiries to senior team members
- Assist with equity-related deadlines and structured outreach campaigns
- Support cross-functional governance and process improvement initiatives
- 0–3 years of experience in finance, operations, data analysis, HR operations, or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
- Must be able to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL four days per week
- Process-oriented and highly organized
- Enjoys working with data and documentation
