Tax Advisor

We look for a Tax Advisor who will build year-round client relationships, provide tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services, conduct virtual and face-to-face interviews, and grow client retention.

You will serve clients with diverse tax and business service needs year-round, providing advanced tax training and support from expert teammates.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing business tax returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Sales and or marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

• Build year-round client relationships
• Provide tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning year-round
• Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and virtually (video, phone, chat, email)
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Grow your tax expertise
• 5 or more years of tax experience
• Experience completing individual tax returns
• Tax planning and audit support
• Effective communication in person and virtually
• Comfort with virtual tools (video conferencing, chat)
• Experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Must meet continuing education requirements and all IRS or state requirements
