The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for producing value-added financial analytics, both on an ad hoc and ongoing basis. To be successful, this position will assist with creating a budget plan, making recommendations to processes and procedures, reporting on business unit planning variances, and preparing monthly performance analyses to identify and interpret financial and operational trends.
Key Responsibilities Support the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plans, and Modeling tools Assist in the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-term planning processes Assist in preparing presentation materials and schedules for key officers and senior management Develop and deliver effective and timely financial analysis and reporting both ad-hoc and at the request of the management team to further support financial strategies and operational objectives Help drive key insights and analytics in the development of a long-term strategic plan for operating expenses and capital investment Analyze current and past trends of financial performance, including all areas of revenues, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field 3+ years of experience in corporate FP&A or similar area Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros, v-lookup, etc.),
and Power Query skills Experience working with multiple legal entities and intercompany eliminations Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and has strong organizational skills Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload with minimum supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations Must have a basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles and terms Ability to reconcile accounts and analyze financial data
Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field Previous experience in CPG company Hands-on experience in Net Suite, Adaptive Planning, Basic SQL
