Bankruptcy Specialist II

The Bankruptcy Specialist II will monitor bankruptcy loans daily and ensure timelines are completed in accordance with internal guidelines.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the ability to prioritize and maintain a large volume of multi-faceted work. Also required is the ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment.

• Reviews and updates MSP/LPS with bankruptcy information.
• Monitor bankruptcy actions through Process Management and default reports.
• Communicate with attorneys, trustees, taxing authorities and other third parties to ensure timely resolution on all cases.
• Timely response to all incoming correspondence regarding assigned loans.
• Handles inquiries by responding to emails, intercoms, handling appropriate document execution escalation, title issue resolution and other related tasks.
• Work internal MSP tracking queues and remove files from bankruptcy as necessary.
• Participate in department progress in reducing timeline delays.
• Knowledge on how to create and update reconciliation ledgers for chapter 13s.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two‑year college preferred.
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training preferred.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous experience with MSP and Black Knight/LPS preferred.

Incumbents will be required to follow any other job‑related instructions and to perform any other job‑related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.
