Job Description
This position is responsible for tax planning, advisory, forecasting, and compliance activities. Key responsibilities include complying with tax reporting requirements for various government jurisdictions, researching tax issues, developing tax‑optimization strategies, and supporting business objectives through collaboration across the enterprise. The role leads projects, coordinates resources, and manages partner relationships.
The role will require the successful candidate to:
- Perform US IRW Tax Withholding and Reporting functions, including reporting related to 1099, 1042, 1042‑S, and other outsourced functions.
- Coordinate globally with colleagues in GBAM Operations Tax & Control, GBAM Tax Change, GBAM Technology, Global Tax Policy, and Global Tax Compliance.
- Service tax‑related client inquiries and escalations.
- Drive tax initiatives and regulatory implementations in partnership with GBAM Tax Change & GBAM Technology.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax planning and compliance strategies.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Research and analyze tax issues.
- Support the preparation of tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review tax estimates and projections.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of U.S. Treasury regulations, including Chapters 3, 4, and 61, and familiarity with reporting requirements such as Forms 1099 and 1042‑S.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to perform complex reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues through structured, analytical approaches.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Highly organized with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail across processes and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues, solutions, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to bringing forward new ideas and perspectives to drive innovation and deliver differentiated solutions.
- Excels at working across diverse viewpoints, leveraging differing perspectives to determine the most effective path forward.

Pay and BenefitsLocation:
US - NY - New York (1133 Ave Of The Americas) Pay range: $79,500.00 - $ per year, based on experience, education, and skill set. Eligibility: discretionary incentive plan and annual discretionary award based on performance.
