We are seeking an Analyst to join our team in the CF Securities:
Operations Administration department. This role is integral to our institutional equity trading business, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure seamless front-to-back operational flow. The Associate will collaborate closely with traders, sales teams, and external counter parties to resolve trade-related issues efficiently. With a focus on equity products, the successful candidate will contribute to process improvements and gain valuable exposure to various aspects of the trade lifecycle.
- Support front-to-back trade flow processing, including trade breaks, allocations, and settlement issues.
- Liaise with traders, sales, and counter parties for accurate trade capture and discrepancy resolution.
- Monitor daily trading activity across domestic and international equity, options, and ETF markets.
- Assist with operational aspects of ADR conversions, prefer reds, DMA, and FX transactions.
- Provide support for DTC/NSCC settlement processing and collaborate with clearing teams.
- Gain exposure to corporate actions and their impact on equity positions.
- Contribute to Middle Office process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Offer ad hoc business support to trading desks and senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations impacting equity operations.
- 2-4 years of experience in equity operations, middle office, or trade support.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes, with DTC/NSCC processing knowledge.
- Familiarity with corporate actions is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- FINRA Series 7 or 99 license is required (or willingness to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
