We are presently seeking a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Director. The Bank’s Third-Party Risk Management Program ( TPRMP or the Program ) establishes the governance framework, risk management standards, due diligence requirements, contractual expectations, and ongoing oversight procedures that the Bank ( the Bank ) shall follow when establishing, maintaining, and terminating relationships with fintech companies and non-bank payment processing organizations (collectively referred to herein as Fintech/Payment Third Parties or FPTPs ) and other critical vendors engaged by the Bank.
The TPRM Director will serve as the central point of contact for onboarding, offboarding and related risk management activities for Fintech and Payment Programs of Third Parties within the Specialty Banking (Payments and Prepaid Cards) line of business to ensure effective due diligence, onboarding, regulatory compliance, ongoing monitoring, and performance oversight. Safeguard that all FPTPs operate within established risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and Bank policies while supporting safe and sustainable business growth.
This role will project manage and coordinate all Subject Matter Expert (SME) activities as they relate to Specialty Banking customers.
- Coordinate end-to-end risk management methodologies for all FPTPs and/or critical vendors to include remediation planning/issue management, risk tolerance statements, risk mandates, and risk scorecards for third party control deficiencies.
- Establish and provide continual project management oversight and coordination of due diligence, onboarding, forward obligations, periodic reviews and general process management for new and existing FPTPs and critical vendors.
- Participate in the development of the TPRM dashboard and other reporting for Specialty Banking.
- Oversight of critical vendor management for the organization.
- Oversight of annual risk assessments and performance reviews for FPTPs and critical vendors.
- Establish and manage key service level agreements (SLAs) including contract terms.
- Lead quarterly reviews of FPTP risk ratings, financial performance, and controls environment.
- Maintain a complete inventory of active, pending, and terminated third-party and Specialty Banking relationships including owners, risk ratings, control status, criticality, SLA obligations, renewal dates monitoring cadence, and open issues.
- Support remediation planning and issue management for third‑party control deficiencies, including action plans, responsible owners, target dates, evidence collection, validation, and escalation of overdue items.
- Work closely with business units in a manner that promotes teamwork and professionalism, provide recommendations and support, and ensure business practices are appropriate and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Responsible for compliance with all banking laws, rules, and regulations to include compliance with FLCB policies and procedures including BSA and regulatory requirements and complete all required training.
- Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory expectations around FPTP relationships.
- Represent Florida Capital Bank as a respected business professional.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or the equivalent in relevant work experience to include a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in banking risk, compliance, vendor management, or Fin Tech governance experience to include a minimum of 5 years of direct experience overseeing third-party risk, Fintech partnerships, or regulatory risk management fintech and payment programs.
- Experience interacting with regulators, executive management, and board-level committees is preferred.
- Knowledge of banking regulatory agencies (FinCEN, FDIC, FFIEC, NACHA, OCC) and overall bank regulatory governance related to Fintechs is preferred.
