Position: PASS AND ID/ VEHICLE REGISTRATION CLERK with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will issue appropriate decals; provide advice and assistance to retired and active duty personnel, civilian and contract employees, vendors and others inquiring about regulations and requirements.
* You will review. process and issue applications for requests for vehicle registrations, privately owned weapons registrations and bicycle registrations.
* You will maintain account of vehicle registration decals issued on-hand.
* Prepare statistical reports, charts, and graphs pertaining to vehicle registrations and traffic violation data.
* You will process and de-register weapons and vehicles; destroy weapon registration cards. Requirements Help Conditions of employment
* You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
* Failure to meet conditions of employment may result in disciplinary action or termination.
* Must be a US Citizen.
* Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
* You must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be a U.S. citizen; pass a National Agency Check and local background check.

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
* Must be 18 years of age. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* This is a Mission Essential position. The incumbent must ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* Work regularly includes assignment to a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Must adhere to all safety regulations and standards; properly use all required safety equipment and safe work place procedures; report all observed workplace hazards; report any injury, occupational illness, or property damage to supervisor. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Performing clerical work related to the processing of vehicle, motorcycle, pet, bike, or weapon registrations; AND providing temporary passes for visitors entering an installation. GS-04:
