Correctional Probation Supervisor -

This is an internal promotional opportunity only. Only current FDC employees will be considered. Salary will be determined in accordance with current pay procedures. Correctional Probation Supervisor vacancy located at:
Circuit 04 Multi-Hire Probation and Parole Office TBA, Florida (Clay, Duval and Nassau County).

The incumbent in this position is responsible for directing and supervising correctional probation officers and senior officers. This position shall monitor the daily activities of correctional probation officers and senior officers to ensure investigative and supervision services are provided in accordance with Florida statutes, department of corrections rules, and the probation and parole manual of procedures. The incumbent in this position may also supervise the day-to-day operation of a small office.

Ability to work independently and/or under stressful conditions. Ability to describe facts and events accurately. Ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of techniques for advising, interviewing, and counseling. Ability to interview and counsel. Ability to review and analyze data. Ability to prepare a variety of reports. Ability to conduct investigations. Ability to understand and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.

Certified in accordance with Florida Statutes 943.13. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. All employees in the correctional probation officer classes shall be required to possess a valid driver's license as a condition of employment in accordance with , Florida Administrative Code and Section 322.03(3) Florida Statutes.
