Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall physical function. This position requires a strong understanding of musculoskeletal disorders, rehabilitation techniques, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine their physical abilities and limitations through various diagnostic procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document patient records accurately and promptly.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, exercises, and strategies for maintaining physical health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field of physical therapy.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient, inpatient, or home health environments.
- Specialized certifications (e.g., Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Geriatric Clinical Specialist).
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment and supplies.
- Physical stamina to perform therapeutic interventions and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to perform therapeutic techniques.
