Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf. This is a Part‑Time opportunity working a Saturday and Sunday shift 8:00am - 8:30pm. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high‑quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients (both adults and pediatrics) in a freestanding ED setting.

• Performs high‑quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Promotes goodwill amongst co‑workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be located at Baptist Oakleaf. Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.

• Education Required:
  
  Vocational School
• Education Preferred:
  Associate's Degree
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years Customer Service Experience;
  Experience working in a hospital setting;
  Ultrasound Experience;
  Experience with vascular ultrasound.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required or
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred or
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
