Overview
To provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication/pharmacotherapy education. To participate in performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department.
QualificationsRequired
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy - OR - Pharm
D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Preferred Education:
Post-graduate residency training
Necessary
Skills:
Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products. Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity. Computer skills and accuracy in calculations. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Supervision:
Supervisory responsibility of 3 employees.
Required Licensure/
Certifications:
- Registered pharmacy intern with the Florida Board of Pharmacy or Registered pharmacist in Florida (must be registered pharmacist in Florida within 90 days of hire).
Required Experience:
Less than one (1) year.

All Age Groups.
