Job Summary

Up to $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus

We’re hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part‑Time Days position located at Baptist South.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist South. This position requires a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working in an acute care setting, and experience in ortho and neuro care. This is a Part‑Time opportunity working Day Shift, 24 hours per week (3 8‑hour shifts) -- to include regular weekend (Saturday and Sunday) coverage.

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.
• Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Oversees support staff. Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
• Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required.

Bachelor's Degree

• Experience with Surgical Patient Care
• Orthopedics
• Experience in Neuro
• Experience working in an Acute Care setting

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Physical Therapist Required
