Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Infusion Therapy! This is a PRN opportunity with shift availability primarily on weekdays, offering options for full-day or half-day shifts. The pharmacist will also be included in a rotating weekend on-call schedule approximately every six weeks. As a PRN Pharmacist in our infusion setting, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include compounding and dispensing medications, providing clinical consultations, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Performing the duties of a Pharmacist in an Infusion Therapy setting.
- Responsible for pharmacy compounding and dispensing IV drugs and medications and maintaining JCAHO compliance.
- Filling prescriptions for customers and providing drug information counseling to patients and physicians.
- Working in conjunction with the IV Pharmacy Manager for certain administrative functions.
