Rehab Tech-PRN

Overview

The Rehab Tech supports the delivery of rehabilitative care under direct supervision by clinicians and site leadership. Performs tasks related to cleaning and monitoring of equipment and supplies, assisting with patient care delegated by clinicians, cleaning and organization within the department areas, clerical support and patient flow/transport.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  GED or High School Diploma.
• Necessary
  
  Skills:
  
  Good communication skills including verbal and nonverbal communication; ability to work effectively with patients at all levels of ability/disability.
• Preferred Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
• Preferred Education: Allied health coursework desirable.

  Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
