Job Posting Summary Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant II for the Age Well Department at our San Marco clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity that will work a Monday-Friday at Baptist Age Well Center for Health. The Age Well Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. Age Well services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist!

The Certified Medical Assistant will cross train as a front office staff to support them as needed. This position requires a candidate to have their CMA license as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility. Job Responsibilities:

Provides nursing assistance to physician.
* Obtains vital signs.
* Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit.
* Responsible for telephone triage and patient education.
* Maintains medical documentation.
* Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician.
* Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals.
