The Age Well Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. Age Well services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! This position requires a candidate to have their Medical Assistant Certification as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

* Performing phlebotomy procedures

* Providing nursing assistance to physician

* Obtaining vital signs

* Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit

* Telephone triage and patient education

* Maintaining medical documentation

* Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician

* Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals

* Cross training in front office, referrals area, and other areas
