Overview
A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. Degree in medicine or other fields, with plans for career in dental, medicine, advanced medical practice, pharmacy, chiropractor, physical and occupational therapy, or other allied fields.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient examinations or treatments.
- May perform scribe functions by documenting all provider/patient interactions in the medical record under the supervision and responsibility of a licensed clinician.
- Observe and report patients' signs or symptoms.
- Participates in performance improvement projects.
- Participates as an active care team member in the coordination of patient care.
- Provides a standard of excellence as it relates to customer service for patients, staff members, and other customers.
- Assists with test scoring.
- Assists with report documentation.
Experience Requirements: 1 year - Clerical/Customer Service experience, ideally in a healthcare related industry, experience with third party payors and computer experience for inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material.

Education: High School Diploma - Required. Degree in medicine, with plans for a career in dental, medicine, advanced medical practice, pharmacy, chiropractor, physical/occupational therapy, or other allied health fields. Required.
Certifications/Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) - required - at time of hire.
Travel: Up to 10%
