Central Supply Clerk Needed!! - Join Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Avante at Jacksonville Beach Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Central Supply Clerk to provide supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

• Provide supplies and equipment in an efficient manner in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Support nursing, medical, and facility staff by ensuring availability of required supplies and equipment.
• Maintain organized supply areas and uphold inventory control practices.
• Follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the health care industry; long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Knowledge of supply practices, procedures, systems, and guidelines.
• Ability to minimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipment.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and incorporate them into practices.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficiency with computers, data input/retrieval, and common software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.).

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum: one (1) year of experience in a health care facility or environment. Long Term Care experience preferred.
