Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are hiring for Medical Assistants for a client of ours in Jacksonville, FL.

• Provide assistance as needed to physicians
• Obtain vital signs as needed
• Greet and escort patients during their visit
• Maintain medical documentation
• Injections and immunizations testing
• EKGs
• Schedule care, treatment and diagnostic tests per physician request
• Process prescription requests/prior auths and queue up refills for doctors to review
• Process referral requests

• High school diploma/GED
• BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association
• Reliable transportation
• 2-3+ years Medical Assistant experience
• Vital signs
• Experience in a physicians office/Clinic setting
• Proven dependability/attendance and positive attitude
• Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:
• oHep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine
  -Epic experience
• CMA/RMA
• Associates degree or higher
